The MVC – 2D+Delta Codec takes advantage of the redundancies between multiple frames or image views. It became part of the global ISO-14496-10 MVC Standard. Then, in December 2009, the Blu-ray Disc Association announced the adoption of the MVC standard as the official specification for 3D Blu-ray movies and players world wide. TDVision received the Lumiere award from the Advanced Imaging Society for its creation of the MVC 2D+Delta Codec.

The GPU processing power is leveraged to create a self contained stereoscopic camera subsystem. This subsystem identifies the gestures of the user when Virtual Reality environments are active, without the need for haptic devices, external sensors, external laser scanners or any other cameras.
